Dr. Kimberly Oh
I grew up in Northern Virginia. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at the University of Virginia. I then attended Virginia Commonwealth University and earned my Masters of Science Degree in Physiology and my Medical Degree. I did my graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. During my time in school I performed research in the areas of Lynch Syndrome, compliance of physicians and staff with operating room protocol, fetal alcohol syndrome, and the effects of heavy metal on cell adhesion molecule expression.
While in school I belonged to the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and as a student I volunteered at Loudon Hospital.
I went into medicine because I love to take care of people, I believe that communication and respect are very important.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my husband, new baby, and two dogs. I love to read and travel.
